Leadership and direction of shared services recruiting department accountable to deliver continuous pipeline of appropriately qualified Class A tractor trailer drivers Partnered with to provide recruiting services to five separate operating companies Negotiated with multiple vendors reducing cost by approximately $ 250,000 per year Supervised 30 including both in-house and field recruiters, processors, compliance, manager, and part-time support staff Lead the capacity development and staffing function for 12 off site locations in 10 states accounting for up to 370 - 400 new employee hires per year consisting of Class A Drivers Ensure that all recruiting and hiring activities/efforts are in compliance with Federal, State and company guidelines. This effort includes pre-employment screening of MVR's, criminal backgrounds, drug and alcohol history and references Create, document, manage and lead all recruiting/staffing strategies and processes for all positions. This includes working with state employment offices, attending job fairs, holding hiring events and working with any/all job banks or other resources available to assist in hiring efforts Establish and effectively manage company marketing budget by terminal/location Develop recruiting brochures, marketing materials and coordinate the company's marketing efforts designed for recruiting drivers and non-driving employees
