Over the course of my education and career I've been involved in a wide range of health related areas and topics. As a result, I'm able to integrate my in-depth knowledge and make new and creative connections between broad associations and disciplines. I'm a consummate systems builder; always seeking ways to distill the complex into something that is simpler, efficient, functionally works and produces measurable outcomes. I've worked on and am interested in projects related to: broad health services research topics (access to care, health workforce issues, comparative effectiveness, health care payment and financing, EMR/tele-medicine), health reform and economics, policy and advocacy, health promotion and wellness, rural health, health disparities, reproductive health, Rx drug abuse, tobacco and alcohol. I'm most interested in research and projects that improve quality of life and health outcomes across populations from a health systems and policy standpoint.
