As an award-winning marketing communications and corporate communications professional, I specialize in media relations/reputation, corporate social responsibility (CSR), Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) communications, and social media, but there’s more to me than meets the eye! I am also a produced playwright, published author, brand journalist, and leader who has had the privilege of achieving winning results in diverse industries and environments. I have worked in areas as diverse as health care, personal finance and professional sports. I have practiced my crafts in government, environmental planning and policy, and manufacturing. My career has seen me working “on the inside,” as an employee, and as a consultant, working for my own small-but-profitable independent agency and for a prominent global PR firm. In these roles, I have developed communications plans for complex change initiatives in large organizations, implemented process improvements that increased efficiencies, and helped change the perceptions of products and whole industries --- driving increases in revenue. As a results-motivated communications leader, I have worked with C-level executives, federal elected officials, nurses, physicians and plant manufacturing employees, and I have managed events including press conferences and satellite media tours, reports to Congress and corporate town halls. Every experience served my natural curiosity and my interest in professional achievement and development, while giving me the chance to contribute my high energy and positive attitude to collaborative teams working to do whatever the business demands. I am an organized planner and problem solver who thrives in fast-paced and fluid environments that give me the opportunity to take initiative. I am at my best in leadership roles where I can fully utilize my skills and capabilities, while learning continuously and celebrating results with a dedicated and hard-working team.
