An avid marathon runner, I understand the importance of setting goals and determining a training plan to achieve success. I combine this athletic mindset with a love of numbers, strategizing with shareholders and management to develop and execute a defined business plan to achieve growth and liquidity goals. I enjoy being a catalyst - inspiring others and effecting change or action. Working with both private middle market and public companies, I lead a variety of deal teams, manage complex transaction processes and communicate effectively with shareholders, management teams, boards, buyers, lenders and advisors. With a passion for industrial/manufacturing companies, I have developed in-depth knowledge of a variety of niche industries and respective growth drivers, ranging from metal fabrication to non-woven materials to ice cream manufacturing to ready-mix concrete. I strive to simplify the complex transaction process for clients, which often entails: developing detailed financial models, preparing presentation materials, managing diligence, identifying potential partners, evaluating and communicating strategic alternatives and negotiating the optimal deal structure. I enjoy sharing my expertise with business owners and management teams through various speaking engagements. I have closed more than 35 sell-side M&A, divestiture, bankruptcy, restructuring and capital raising transactions, including cross border transactions, representing more than $1.6 billion of transaction value. As the Head of Capital Raising, I maintain relationships with more than 200 senior lenders and junior capital providers nationally to structure complex financings to meet clients’ growth and liquidity objectives. I also oversee the firm’s recruiting and training efforts. I am proud to have been named a Smart Business “Women Who Excel” finalist in 2014 and a Crain’s Cleveland Business “20 in their 20s” winner in 2009. I have completed 24 marathons, including 11 Boston Marathons.
