I am a problem solver. I think this is why I was drawn to math and computer science and spent a couple of years teaching high school math. Although I ultimately decided that teaching was not the career path I wanted to pursue, I always enjoy getting to the root cause of a problem and figuring out how to solve it. Whether it is working with quadratic equations or how to most efficiently manage a process. I am very detail-oriented. I am the person people turn to when they have a question that can't be answered. I like to know how things work - inside and out. I can dependably provide the answers either because of my expertise of the subject matter or because I do what is needed to figure it out. I like questioning the status quo, figuring out how system changes can improve processes and how processes can become more efficient. My natural curiosity and logical thinking are skills that can be applied universally.
