I graduated in May 2017 with a BBA in Marketing from the University of Mississippi. My education, my past work experiences, and leadership opportunities make me a strong candidate for a position at your company. For example this past summer I had the opportunity to move to NYC and work as an intern at Summit Golf Brands. I learned many things from my internship but more importantly, I learned how to live in a city I had never been to before by myself. Learning how to commute to work, travel the city, and support myself on my income, taught me many valuable lessons. In the past year and a half, I was taking classes, working at Oxford Floral, interning with One Fine Day Events, and on Kappa Delta’s recruitment team. Each of these positions I had taught me important components for future jobs. Through my job at Oxford Floral, I have learned how to treat all customers with respect and how to work with my co-workers. I have also sat through meetings with the marketing head, Heather Cray, to see how she markets for Oxford Floral. With my internship at One Fine Day Events, I have learned how to work under pressure and to always be prepared while doing a job. Through this internship, it taught me how to plan a wedding or event, learn how to work with brides and their families, and be creative and original. Being on Kappa Delta’s recruitment team has taught me how to communicate with all people from potential new members to heads of National Kappa Delta. It taught me how to be a leader of a chapter of over 400 women. It taught me how to market my sorority to potential new members hoping they would see the benefits and rewards that Kappa Delta has. Although each of my positions have taught me valuable lessons individually, while working them all at the same time has taught me how to stay organized, do things ahead of time, and manage my time.
