I am an experienced sales professional with a strong and successful track record in both sales and sales management within the computer and software industries. I worked at Sperry Computers for 14 years, starting as a salesman and finishing as a Regional Director of Sales, Stratus Computer for 10 years starting as a District Manager and finishing as Vice President of North American Sales, EMC Corporation for 3 years as the Enterprise District Manager in Atlanta, GA, Cisco Systems 2 years and StorageTek/Sun Microsystems (STK bought by Sun) for 3 years as a Regional Channel Sales Manager. I have also been the Vice President of Sales for two start-up software firms Prologic (Wealth Management Software) and Synthesys Technologies (Medical Software) for a total of 3+ years. After an absence of 15 years, I rejoined Stratus Technologies, Inc. in 2010 and served as a Channel Sales Manager for four years before being promoted to Vice President of Sales and Service for the Americas (United States, Canada, Mexico and South America). I remained in this role until I retired two years later after guiding the organization to once again attain it revenue and profit goals. I have achieved 30 quota clubs during my career for those companies that had these reward programs. I was Branch Manager of the Year twice out of 5 years when I was with Sperry and Salesman of the year once in the Charlotte Branch. I was also named District Manager of the Year 3 consecutive years at Stratus Computer and Regional Manager of the Year once. I was also named District Manager of the Year at EMC. I have always had a successful and proven track record in sales and sales management throughout my career as demonstrated by my ability to consistently achieve and exceed my assigned quota and margin goals, while still operating within my annual budgets!
