With over 20 years of success within European-owned private and Fortune 500 public manufacturing and sales corporations, I’ve played a pivotal role in evolving companies into the empires they are today, key players operating in diverse industries and markets worldwide. As a visionary change agent, I’ve driven both top and bottom-line impact across a range of key metrics, intersecting strategy, operational excellence, and inspired leadership teams. ► CAREER & BOARD SYNOPSIS Most recently, I was the President and CEO of STIHL Inc.’s multi-billion dollar U.S. business and delivered the U.S. organization’s most successful 6 years in its 47-year history. I led the vision, growth strategies, and operations spanning manufacturing, sales, marketing, and distribution. I also spent over 20 years taking Siemens businesses to the next level in industries that included water technology, medical equipment, logistics systems, rail vehicle manufacturing and railway automation. I also recently served on the Boards of Directors for the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute (OPEI) and the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce, as well as on the Deans Advisory Council for Old Dominion University’s Strome College of Business.
