Cathy is Managing Director of the Toronto office of Stanton Chase, which she launched in 2015. A Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of financial and leadership search experience, she is a trusted advisor and partner to many long-standing clients and candidates. Stanton Chase is a global retained executive search firm ranked among the top 10 firms worldwide. Established in 1990, the firm has 350 consultants working in over 70 offices across 45 countries. The firm is unique in the executive search industry, offering clients global reach and expertise, complemented by the high-touch service, deep industry knowledge and personal relationships of local, boutique practices. Prior to joining Stanton Chase, Cathy co-founded a Ambit Search, a Toronto-based boutique firm specializing in financial professionals. Cathy obtained her Chartered Accountant designation with Ernst & Young in Ottawa prior to taking on financial roles within the retail, real estate and healthcare sectors in Toronto. She is fluently bilingual (French/English) and welcomes the opportunity to work with clients and candidates in either language. Cathy is very active in the Toronto business community and a variety of volunteer activities, serving as a Board Member & Treasurer of local non-profit organizations and a Board Trustee for Africa Reads. She is also quite active within the academic community, as a frequent speaker at local schools and events, advising students about future career opportunities.
