Dmitri Siegel is currently the Vice President of Global Brand for Sonos. He oversees all branding, global marketing communications, advertising, brand design, communcations strategy, brand experience, brand activation, digital marketing, and partnership marketing. In addition, he oversees digital commerce and physical retail.Dmitri was formerly the Vice President of Global E-Commerce and Global Executive Creative Director for the outdoor clothing and gear company Patagonia. In his role as Global Executive Creative Director Dmitri oversaw the visual image of the brand in all media. He lead the Graphic Design, Photography, Copy, Video and Digital Creative teams in their work creating the global brand image for Patagonia.Prior to Patagonia Dmitri was the Executive Director of Marketing for Urban Outfitters. Reporting to the President, he oversaw Marketing and Creative as well as the Direct to to Consumer business. Dmitri oversaw all brand marketing and creative including catalog, web and retail art experience. He launched numerous innovative retail and marketing programs at Urban Outfitters including mobile, social, and CRM.Dmitri has published widely on the topics of Design, technology and digital culture. He is a contributing writer for Design Observer and his writing has been featured in Dot Dot Dot, Émigré, and Creative Review among others. He recently published his first book 'Green Patriot Posters: Images for a new Activism' with co-editor Edward Morris.Dmitri has lectured at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), Maryland Institute College of Art, and Art Center Center College of Design among others and earned his MFA in Graphic Design from Yale University.
