Accomplished Data professional with over seventeen years’ experience in banking and insurance, I specialise in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence. In both Project Management and hands-on technical roles, I have helped to deliver successful projects for blue chip clients, these have included Schroder’s, Credit Suisse, Marsh & McLennan, Lloyds and AON. I am passionate about data, and care intensely about its quality and accuracy. I can manipulate and make sense of large and complex data sets utilising a variety of tools (e.g., SQL Server, Excel, Access, C# .Net, WhereScape RED, Power BI...) and possess the ability to rapidly develop creative solutions for data warehousing and migration, extracting, loading, transforming, reconciliation and visualisation. I communicate clearly on technical and non-technical matters at all levels of an organisation; equally capable of delivering high-level presentations at board level whilst getting into the detail of program code with developers. I am often utilised as a link between Business and Technical teams. I have extensive international experience having worked on pan-EMEA and Global projects and liaised closely with offshore development teams. I am effective at facilitating workshops and delivering training.
