As the first full-time employee at Data Dynamics, we went from an 'unknown', through a successful startup phase, and eventually an acquisition by GrapeCity, a leading developer tools vendor.At our startup, Data Dynamics, I imagined, created, marketed, and sold commercial SDK/API products to developers including the market-leading Reporting & Business Intelligence products ActiveReports, ActiveAnalysis, and DynamiCube. At Data Dynamics/GrapeCity we have consistently had products in the Top 10 best seller list on ComponentSource.com for more than ten years running.I presented the idea for ActiveReports Server to the company president - a new product that leverages our core competencies to take GrapeCity into a new market. I lead the creation of the technical and business team responsible for all aspects of creating, marketing, and selling the product.
