I am the Medical Director and Founder of SPAN (Special Pediatric to Adult Need program) located in Kansas City. SPAN provides primary care to teens and adults with genetic disorders such as Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, and Intellectual disabilities. SPAN is the first documented clinic where a person with special needs and the family/caregiver can be seen in the same setting, leading to better care for the whole community. My philosophy of medical care is to go back to the basics. SPAN provides a thorough history and physical exam linked with the best technology all provided in a caring medical home. I am compassionate and provide pragmatic care with intense curiosity.
