Southeastern Grocers, parent company of BI-LO, Harveys and Winn-Dixie grocery stores, is the fifth-largest conventional supermarket chain in the U.S. and the second-largest conventional supermarket in the southeast based on store count. The company employs nearly 72,000 associates who serve customers in 790 grocery stores, 143 liquor stores and 527 in-store pharmacies throughout the eight southeastern states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.

I am currently a senior at Lehigh University majoring in finance and marketing with a minor in entrepreneurship. As a freshman in high school I began actively following the markets and trading a paper portfolio. Through self directed research and internships in equity brokering, wealth management, real estate investment and most recently fixed income sales/trading, I have developed an understanding of fundamental and technical analysis. Since age 18 I have actively invested in the equities and options markets with exposure to fixed income and commodities through the use of ETFs. This past summer as a fixed income sales and trading summer analyst I learned how to evaluate pass- through securities including MBS and structured products. Throughout my internships I have gained proficiency with Bloomberg and Excel among other industry data sources. This enabled me to provide value to the traders as well as portfolio managers I worked under by proactivly proposing new trade opportunities for their consideration.
