I am a Director of Technology at SapientNitro and have over 17 years of experience in technology and business consulting and currently focusing on implementing and continuously improving cutting edge omni channel transformations. In my current role as Demandware Capability Lead, I provide technology vision and leadership for successful eCommerce solutions based on Demandware platform. Additionally I manage delivery, provide people leadership and provide management coverage for my client IT team. Having spent most of my career at SapientNitro that has transformed itself from a traditional IT Consulting firm to a leading advertising agency, my experience straddles both those worlds. My proficiency in delivering experience driven ecommerce solutions for leading brands is matched by my expertise in setting up and delivering traditional IT programs for clients in industries including Utilities, Oil & Gas and Insurance. I have successfully led multi geographical cross-functional teams to deliver solutions of varying sizes and complexity. I have worked with clients across North America, Europe and APAC - as Delivery Lead, Technology Lead, Integration Architect, Program Manager and Technical Consultant. I am passionate about open and healthy culture and ensure that people I am mentoring understand the importance of the same. For my own success, I am always focused on attracting, retaining and developing highly capable, diverse and engaged people on my teams. I began my career in educational management at Exeter Systems India in 1997 where I worked for 3 years. I spent some time at two startups (Redwood and ADG) before joining Sapient in 2001.
