SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS Technology Leadership – Full accountability for a 150-person global IT organization with annual budgets of $20-30M. Transformed the state of IT for Progress Software. Inherited a matrix of non-integrated applications, poor data visibility, and redundant applications and infrastructure. Created and implemented an enterprise architecture plan, largely cloud-based, that significantly improved architecture, provided better access to information, and reduced IT costs across the company. General Management and Operations – In addition to CIO leadership responsibility, served as Chief of Staff to the CEO and led Progress’s largest business unit on an interim basis. Developed a new strategy and business plan for restoring growth to the business and secured the Board’s approval. Acquisition/Integration – Led technical due diligence and integration of strategic acquisitions that took place at both News Corp and Progress Software. Led strategic, technical, and financial due diligence of BravePoint, now the services arm of Progress. Strategic Planning – While at News Corporation, successfully ran IT strategy development for multiple business units, including the NY Post, Star TV, Fox TV Stations group, Dow Jones, and HarperCollins. Highly valued advisor to the global leaders of the corporation’s businesses, providing guidance on issues such as business unit IT leadership transitions and acquisitions.
