Created and implemented an enterprise architecture plan, largely cloud-based, that significantly improved architecture, provided better access to information, and reduced IT costs across the company. General Management and Operations – In addition to CIO leadership responsibility, served as Chief of Staff to the CEO and led Progress’s largest business unit on an interim basis. Developed a new strategy and business plan for restoring growth to the business and secured the Board’s approval. Acquisition/Integration – Led technical due diligence and integration of strategic acquisitions that took place at both News Corp and Progress Software. Led strategic, technical, and financial due diligence of BravePoint, now the services arm of Progress. Strategic Planning – While at News Corporation, successfully ran IT strategy development for multiple business units, including the NY Post, Star TV, Fox TV Stations group, Dow Jones, and HarperCollins.
