With over 35 years of federal government and commercial experience at both public and private companies, Carey has a successful track record of achieving results - driving simultaneous top and bottom line organic growth and identifying, acquiring and integrating companies. A transformational leader, Carey attributes her success to the ability to recruit, retain and develop a high performing team, achieve program execution and drive growth in emerging, sustainable and profitable markets. With global experience across the defense, aerospace, intelligence, infrastructure and industrial markets, Carey has a unique, diverse background that spans profit & loss, operations management, business development, strategic planning, engineering and technical management. She has been successful across a portfolio of businesses, that include systems integration, hardware and software products and services supporting the Department of Defense, intelligence, federal civilian, international and state and local customer communities. Today as the Chair, President and Chief Executive Officer of Parsons Corporation, Carey is accountable for global growth and execution covering over 25 countries and all 50 states with an organization of ~17,000 employees. Parsons is an advanced technology company with industry-leading mission solutions spanning cyber & intelligence, space & missile defense, critical infrastructure protection, transportation, environmental remediation and urban development markets. Carey also serves on two public company board of directors – Parsons Corporation and Edison International – and two non-profit board of directors – Professional Services Council (as Chair) and the Intelligence and National Security Alliance. Carey has been named to the Virginia Business Power List (3 times), WashingtonExec Top Executives to Watch (4 times), top 100 Diverse Corporate Leaders in STEM, Executive Mosaic GovCon Wash100 (5 times) and the top 100 women in STEM. Carey is NACD certified as a director and in cybersecurity governance. She received an honorable doctorate from Ohio Northern University and has both masters and bachelors degrees in electrical engineering.
