Writing is my passion. Over my three decade long career, I've written and published hundreds of articles in FBINAA, Officer,com/Law Enforcement Technology, APCO Public Safety Communications, NENA Emergency Number Professional, and many other public safety, law enforcement, technology and security publications. I run my own awards program - PSAPs' Finest - to recognize the terrific people who work on the front lines of emergency communications and answer the call every day. I also enjoy social media and blogging. I've had the honor of working at NICE for coming up on close to two decades, and it has been a wonderful experience, especially in my younger years, when I needed to balance the demands of work and being a single mom. I've traveled the world and enjoyed immersing myself in different cultures, and hope to do more of it some day. Of course, my biggest love is family and our newest edition, my grandson Marcus, who is the longest newborn you'll ever see and will probably play in the NBA someday : )
