I’m a product manager with 20 years of Messaging and Collaboration experience across both the Microsoft and IBM stacks, I consider myself more of modern product manager having taken responsibility across the entire product life cycle including packaging, advertising, promotions, events, and campaigns, many of these tasks considered to be Product Marketing Manager in today’s definition. I have worked on many integrated campaigns and understand that sales are essential to any successful grow strategy. My path to product management was via a technical route as a Programmer / Admin and then as a Manager over the same technical team. In this role my initial exposure to Product Management was when I productized an Enterprise Mobility Management solution, this was indeed fulfilling, and led to a new career path - I think it’s fair to say however that beyond building products and packaging them I enjoy growing nurturing, and revitalizing markets - this for me is the ultimate challenge. Colleagues know me as a highly creative product manager who can always be trusted to come up with a new approach. I am always engaged with sales, marketing, and looking at news ways to grow the market, I could be accused of being aggressive on this front. I have a BA from the Oxford Brookes University - UK, and am a certified AIPMM Product Manager. I also am English and moved to the US in 2001, I am a US Citizen holding dual citizenship.
