About Lumenis Lumenis Ltd., formerly ESC Medical Systems Ltd., develops manufactures and markets state-of-the-art proprietary laser and intense pulsed light devices. Its systems are used in a variety of aesthetic, surgical, ophthalmic and dental applications, including hair removal, non-invasive treatment of vascular lesions and pigmented lesions, acne, ENT, gynecology, urinary lithotripsy, benign prostatic hyperplasia, urological conditions, open angle glaucoma, secondary cataracts, age-related macular degeneration, and refractive eye correction as well as neurosurgery.

On the surface, bringing home office and field-based teams together to create speed and upward velocity in any organization is an easy premise, that said, I am continually amazed at how most companies have significant growth opportunities in this area. I am passionate about identifying levers that deliver high performance as well as placing people in roles where they can excel. In my experience, leadership and communication are two of the most undervalued and under-represented skills in any organization, team or project. One of the biggest growth levers in any organization is development; there is always a place for talented individuals who seek to do more. To me, there is nothing more fulfilling than leading, building or being an integral part of a successful team. In my career, I have been honored to lead teams of 50-100 people, which includes managing and developing leaders. I am solidly entrenched in the belief that LIFE, pulling examples from business, sports, volunteerism, etc, is the ultimate reality show. A significant driver of success lies in hiring the right people, establishing solid leadership and communication practices and layering that with the right processes that ultimately increase effectiveness and drive GROWTH! Identifying the right people and matching their skill sets and desires to an organization’s needs always sparks excitement in me. Lastly, I am extremely fortunate to have found and learned from some outstanding mentors in many aspects of my life. If my sharing experiences and content across multiple touchpoints supports anyone’s development in even a small way, it will have been time well spent.
