Erik Ralston is a husband, father, Tri-Citizen, co-founder of Fuse, and Chief Architect at LiveTiles. Erik has a vision to make Tri-Cities, WA a better place for his three daughters by making it a world-class city for startups. LiveTiles (ASX:LVT) is an international software startup focused on design tools in the digital workplace and classroom with offices in New York, London, Sydney, and Tri-Cities. Erik leads the software engineering team behind simple yet powerful design tools that are in the hands of millions of students and workers around the world. Erik holds a Bachelor's in Computer Science from Washington State University and has over 10 years of diverse software industry experience – from building enterprise web apps at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory to mobile apps for a cloud-based, real-time rental management startup. Erik joined the Tri-Cities tech-entrepreneurship community over five years ago. Having seen the connections and sharing in this community grow from an acorn on Meetup.Com to an oak at Fuse, Erik knows the engine of opportunity has only begun to turn. Serving as lead organizer for Tri-Cities Startup Weekend and more recently Tri-Cities Launch University & Launch Weekend, Erik is looking for the next generation of people and ideas to build a true startup community in the mid-columbia - and hopes you will come find him at the next Fuse event.
