With a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising I hope to expand my experience in the buying/planning, visual merchandising, or marketing sectors of the fashion industry. My interests evolved as a result of my involvement in editorial photography during my four years of college. I believe I have a unique perspective on the fashion industry as a result of my experience in photography and three years of sales floor experience. I am currently working as a Merchandise Allocator for Burlington Stores in their Youth and Baby division. Through this work I have gained insight into buying, planning and analytics as they pertain to off-price retail. My day-to-day work revolves around analytics. I evaluate my business very closely in order to make sure our product and presentation are ever evolving. I value the learning experiences I've had throughout my years of work experience and world travel. I believe that the international work experience is one of the most valuable skills I can have due to my interests. In 2013 I studied in Leipzig Germany through which I gained insight into international fashion and business. Ever since this experience I have has the opportunity to travel to New Zealand and the United Kingdom in the interest of furthering my worldly experience and education. I am interested in working abroad and am very flexible to move as a company requires.
