I am the Associate Director of Human Resources & Diversity at King & Spalding and I work in the Atlanta office. I joined King & Spalding as a Human Resources Generalist in 2002 and became the Human Resources Manager in 2004. In 2010, my position was expanded to manage firm’s diversity efforts globally and was promoted to Associate Director in 2015. In my role as Associate Director of Human Resources & Diversity, I handle employee relations for over 1000 employees in the Atlanta office, coaching and counseling employees at all levels throughout the firm. I played a major role in designing and delivering the firm’s staff training and development programs. As Associate Director of Diversity , I report to the Diversity Committee Chairman and develop programs and support the committee’s efforts to implement the firm’s diversity strategies. Prior to King & Spalding, I was the Human Resources Generalist at Neiman Marcus. In this role I supported more than 400 employees. I received my Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Georgia. I am a certified as both a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a Certified Senior Professional with the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM-SCP). I am a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) , and the Association of Law Firm Diversity Professionals (ALFDP).
