I am an energetic and positive leader and excel in pulling together collaborative and high performing teams to solve hard problems and deliver high quality services. For the past 25 years I have led government and commercial programs and operational services ranging from small consulting projects to IT services to complex multi-billion dollar major systems acquisitions. I thrive in demanding, fast-paced business environments and am able to build effective relationships across organizational levels from the break room to the board room Recently I jumped on a new challenge to lead the turnaround of a large Virginia Department of Transportation services contract. I guided the program through an intense customer review and instituted many new processes to restore customer confidence and improve service delivery. My organizational and policy changes reduced monthly operating costs by ~$200K as well as prevented the loss of ~$150K in monthly performance disincentives. What I’d like to do next is have the full responsibility to grow a business. I want to apply my full range of business skills to develop the growth strategy, lead the capture effort to win or expand contracts and lead the operations delivery team.
