HDL Engineering Consultants, LLC. is an Alaskan consulting firm specializing in civil, geotechnical, transportation, and arctic engineering, environmental and earth science, surveying, and construction management for government and industry. Founded in 2000, HDL has grown to a full-time staff of 70 engineers, surveyors, geologists, environmental scientists, construction managers, and support staff with offices in Anchorage and Palmer. The principals represent more than 70 years of expertise in one of the most challenging places on earth.

I’m a lifelong employee at HDL and now a Principal Engineer of the firm. As a Professional Engineer, I specialize in the planning and design of highway and roadway projects for state and local agencies. I enjoy assisting clients overcome transportation challenges and act as an experienced mentor to other staff, resulting in high-performing and motivated teams. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with family, woodworking, hunting, and working on classic cars.
