1999 I started my first job in the motor trade, accounts clerk. I worked with some inspirational people over the years, they always encouraged me to achieve more, my journey led me to be an assistant accountant, a dealership accountant, group accountant & branch financial controller......it’s been a great rollercoaster ride thus far. My experiences & skill set are wide & varied, I always give 100% & always focused on what is required. When I’ve seen a negative process I’ve reviewed, restructured, made the necessary improvements, for instance, I increased cash flow by improving debt management & collection. I created a team who work together instead of independently, always one of the first in the group to submit accounts & composites ahead of deadlines, enforced processes & policies resulting in achieving 100% internal audit (the first in group). I’ve found my place in work-life.
