Kathleen spent over 25 years in the pharmaceutical industry before becoming an Owner / Director at Griswold Home Care. While working in pharmaceuticals, Kathleen had taken her inspiration from the desire to help people live not just longer, but better, lives. With a strong personal belief that people should experience the highest quality of life possible regardless of their physical or mental limitations, Kathleen sees Griswold Home Care as the perfect opportunity to continue that mission. Griswold Home Care is dedicated to helping people live safely and comfortably within their own homes. Non-medical home care is quickly becoming the preferred alternative to transitioning to facility living. Most people prefer to "age in place," and home care services allow them to remain close to family, friends and community. Previously, Kathleen was a consultant in the pharmaceutical industry, providing commercial and strategic development direction primarily to start-up companies. Before that, Kathleen was the V.P. of Commercial Development for a Specialty Pharmaceutical company whose main focus was the early development of a drug to manage breakthrough seizures in patients with Epilepsy. That drug was successfully out-licensed. Kathleen spent most of her career at Pfizer, first at the Consumer Health Care (CHC) Division in Brand Management. She later represented CHC in Pfizer's Business Development efforts in the former Soviet Union. At CHC, she led the Rx-to-OTC drug switch planning and execution. Kathleen then moved to the prescription drug division of Pfizer and spent several years leading teams engaged in commercial development optimization of internal pipeline drugs as well as valuing and advising on in-licensing opportunities across many therapeutic areas.
