The mission of the Fender Play Foundation is to Equip, Educate and Inspire the next generation of player, in school and after school. Since the summer of 2020, provided stringed instruments to over 15,000 LA Unified School District middle and elementary school students. Previously at Fender, Ed was responsible for Manufacturing, Supply Chain, New Product Introduction, Planning and Distribution for the Fender portfolio of products. In 2021, Ed joined the Fuqua School of Business Board of Visitors and completed Cohort 3 of the Black Corporate Board Readiness Program at Santa Clara University. P&L responsibility for the US Business Unit along with operational responsibility for 12 factories in the US, Mexico and Puerto Rico. Formerly, GM, York Vehicle Operations, Harley-Davidson's largest vehicle assembly facility producing Touring, Softail, Tri-Glide, and Custom Vehicle Operations motorcycles. Executive Sponsor of Harley-Davidson's Technical Excellence Program (TEP) and H-D Performance Consulting's Performance Group 8 (PG8). Successfully implemented Global Manufacturing ERP (GME) in July of 2012 and was subsequently recognized as SAP Project of the Quarter.
