Software engineer and developer particularly focused on web application back end systems. I'm interested in new technologies and I like to stay up-to-date with the new trends regarding the web, with a particular focus on the tech startups. I really enjoy working in a startup, because you have always new challenges and you have to push yourself further every day. I like the idea of building and being part of something new, and helping the small company to become bigger. From the technical perspective, I have acquired a wide range of competencies, going from coding simple web applications from scratch to planning complex systems architectures. I can work on fixing small bugs, on developing new features, or on planning the database migration. I can understand what is running under the hood of what looks a simple software, and I appreciate easy and smart solutions to complex problems. I always try to look at the big picture and to be aware of the context before tackling a problem. I know that every decision involves a trade off, and the Right Way must be adapted to fit the particular needs of the situation. I like to work in team with high skilled and motivated people because of the opportunity to learn something new everyday and to exchange knowledge. Interested in open source software, I like to share and improve my knowledge on Linux System Administration. I've good technical skills, I'm happy to learn new skills and I like to get things done.
