Kevin Sause Stangeland PE is the Director of Engineering for the Mining Division. He is in charge of 6 engineering teams that design products for various global mining markets. Before moving to the Mining Division, Kevin was the Director of Engineering for the Construction & Industrial Division. Prior to this, Kevin spent 6 years as a New Product Development Team Leader. His last major NPD project was the Nemisys Cast Lip System which won Mining Magazine’s most Innovative Product for Surface Mining in 2012. Before moving to NPD, Kevin spent 7 years with the Construction Expendables team, where he worked his way up to Lead Engineer. Kevin started at ESCO in 1998 as a gage design engineer. Throughout Kevin’s career he has brought a unique blend of engineering skills, passion, fun, curiosity, and drive to always improve to ESCO’s engineering culture.Kevin graduated from Oregon State in 1998 with a BS in mechanical engineering. He has been a registered professional mechanical engineer in the state of Oregon since 2003. He is married to his wife Melissa and has an 9yr old daughter named Kaity Sue, and a 6yr old son named Kaden. In his free time Kevin enjoys watching Beaver football, skiing, Mt. biking, and playing with his kids.
