Experienced global NED and executive with 30 years experience in sustainability, energy, global operations and strategy. Currently a NED on the Siemens AG Supervisory Board, and Chair of private equity backed Opus Talent Solutions. Also an Independent Board Manager on the global non profit Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) and Commissioner on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC). Previously the CEO and non-executive Director of one of the world's leading sustainability consulting firms, ERM, leading a global team of 6,000 staff and close to $1bn revenue and an Executive Committee member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) . Held regional operational leadership roles in Australia, the UK & Ireland, Asia Pacific, EMEA and NA. Frequent speaker at key sustainability events including WBCSD events, Environmental Analyst, EFCG conferences, COP and DAVOS events. Technical consulting skills include Sustainable Development, Sustainability, Strategy, Environmental Impact Assessment, and Environmental Policy. Strong professional with business and leadership development including the Advanced Management Programme from Harvard Business School and the Accelerated Leadership Development Programme from Chicago Booth University.
