“Guiding People to a Lifetime of Financial Success” is not just a tagline – it’s at the heart of everything we do at Enterprise Bank & Trust. It is our mission, our North Star, our guiding principle, and my personal touchstone for every business decision I’ve made during 20 years as a proud member of the Enterprise Bank & Trust family. Why? Because I value the ripple effect of financial success, which reaches beyond individual wealth. I see firsthand the positive impact that financially successful people and businesses have on their families and within our communities, and THAT is what drives my commitment to my clients, my colleagues, and my community every day. I started my banking career as a credit analyst at Enterprise Bank’s Sunset Hills branch in St. Louis, Mo., straight out of college in 2000 and have advanced through various leadership roles to my current position as President of SPECIALIZED BANKING, which includes: ▷ LIFE INSURANCE PREMIUM FINANCE ▷ SPONSOR FINANCE ▷ AIRCRAFT FINANCE ▷ COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION BANKING ▷ PROPERTY MANAGEMENT ▷ TAX CREDITS www.enterprisebank.com/business/specialized-banking During my career, I’ve formed the bank’s Small Business & Consumer Lending group; built a commercial loan portfolio; developed and managed a Life Insurance Premium Finance niche product; and established Enterprise Financial CDE (EFCDE) as a leader in attracting private capital to disadvantaged communities via the New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) program. Under my leadership, EFCDE has been awarded $243 million in NMTC allocation, which has allowed us to fund 43 projects, supporting 8,500+ jobs and bringing essential services to over 285,000 people in distressed communities in Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Arizona and New Mexico. At Enterprise Bank, I sit on the Strategic Planning Group and am a founding member of our Diversity Council. Outside the bank, I serve on the Board for Rise, a nonprofit organization that connects key groups to revitalize low-income communities in Greater St. Louis and Habitat for Humanity- St. Louis. I earned my B.S. in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Finance & Real Estate, from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2000, and completed the Women’s Leadership Forum at Washington University in 2017. ►Add me to your professional network and/or contact me at akepple@enterprisebank.com◄
