As Vice President, Labour Relations at EllisDon, I manage collective agreement relationships across Canada and wherever business takes us. Those agreements affect more than a third of EllisDon’s employees and thousands of subcontractor employees. I work with our executive team to develop and implement labour strategies for new and existing businesses, joint venture partnerships and major infrastructure pursuits such as our $5.5 billion Eglinton Crosstown, $1.44 billion Edmonton Valley Line, and $1.8 billion Ottawa Confederation Line Light Rail Transit projects. By integrating creative labour strategies into our business pursuits, we face few disruptions, maintain greater flexibility and realize improved execution and value for our clients
