As the Director of Technical Services and Ambulatory Systems at El Camino Health, I am in charge of all technical operations and strategy for both hospitals and Ambulatory clinics. My direct reports include our Technical Services Manager who provide day to day support of our Network, Datacenter, and Telecommunications engineers. Our Desktop Support Manager who provides day to day support of our Desktop and Desktop Engineering teams. Our Epic Infrastructure Manager who provides day to day support of our Epic environment and support analysts. In addition, my teams are in charge of our Epic EHR system development and implementation. We provide an integrated Electronic Health Record platform to El Camino Health owned clinics across the Los Gatos and Mountain View communities. We also provide a Community Connect program to independent physician practices who want to partner with El Camino and integrate into the hospital EHR system at a subsidized cost. I have been in working in IT Healthcare for over 20 years now. Working in the Healthcare space provides a sense of purpose and satisfaction. Knowing that the technology we implement goes to making people's lives better and safer when getting the care they need from ECH.
