I work with communities (mostly around the Pacific Northwest; sometimes in California) and multidisciplinary teams to plan for and help implement sustainable urban places. I've been at this just long enough that a few of these plans have started to spring out of the ground. At various times of the day I'm managing projects, developing urban plans, and helping lead our 20+ person Urban Design + Planning studio across both Portland and Oakland offices. Right now my SERA colleagues and I are doing this from the self-isolating environs of our own homes. Though we aren't in the office we're fully operational and ready to be of assistance. We're perhaps reminded in these times how much we lack when we cannot be social beings. I'm dedicated to creating the places and experiences that allow us to be together in a more sustainable and resilient world.
