Robert Swayze, Jr. has over 35 years of management experience working with international law and accounting firms. Robert is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant. Robert pioneered the use of analytics to drive law firm profitability, strategic mapping and platform development designed to find and develop clients of choice while managing to maximized profits. Implemented legal project management designed to deliver profitability while meeting client demands. This approach connects the financial and marketing functions across the platform and has proven to be successful in managing new pricing models as well as delivering management benchmarks. Having worked over twenty law firm mergers, Robert has dealt successfully with firm capital issues, banking relationships and lease negotiations. He has served on Executive Boards, Strategic Planning Committees, Retirement Committees and Partner Compensation Committees. Installing the first national practice group structure for an AmLaw 100 firm, Robert developed the practice group strategic and attorney planning templates that coordinated plans with measurable progress tracking. Robert developed a training program for the practice group leaders that taught role and management imperatives required to support the strategic mission. This initiative led to the development of the first cradle to grave business development training program in the industry. The highly focused program is based on benchmark proficiencies designed to guide an attorney through proven steps of business development. He has been a presenter for the Association of Legal Administrators, the Association of Corporate Counsel, various State and local Bar conferences and the Legal Marketing Association speaking on topics such as strategic and scenario planning, marketing pricing models, alternative pricing models and integrated practice group management.
