As the Director of Internal Audit of Enova International, Inc., I have developed an internal audit department for a high growth enterprise operating in a highly regulated industry. In developing an internal audit department, I've developed a strategic risk based multi-year audit plan with a focus on improving internal controls, providing recommendations to management regarding control deficiencies and identifying areas of opportunity for profit improvement and/or cost control. Included within this multi-year plan is the (1) creation and maintenance of an internal control over financial reporting (ICFR) audit program to achieve Sarbanes-Oxley/404 compliance and (2) performing financial, operational and compliance audits.|In this role, I work closely with executive leadership, external auditors, co-sourced auditors, service auditors, IT Risk Management, Accounting and Finance, IT, General Counsel, Project Management Office (PMO), and Human Resources.
