Hospitalist

Community Health Plan of Washington is hiring for both clinical and non-clinical positions! We are the only not-for-profit health insurance plan founded by Community Health Centers that provides Apple Health coverage in the state. I have experience in multiple medical environments since finishing Internal Medicine Residency in 1995. Most recently, I have been a Hospitalist primarily at Swedish Medical Center both at First Hill and Cherry Hill working for Kaiser Permanente for the past 11 years (full time hospitalist). As such, I manage care transitions for fragile elderly patients with multiple co-morbid medical conditions to ensure safe discharges and to help reduce readmissions. My previous private medical practice experience as an ambulatory Internist with inpatient responsibilities makes me well suited to these continuity of care issues. I have also used this experience for the six years in doing medical review work for Community Health Plan of Washington involving inpatient and outpatient preauthorization review for Medicare, Medicaid, and dual plan.
