Process Engineering Manager

Buckeye Partners headquartered in Texas in the United States, primary distributor of petroleum in the East and Mid-West of the United States.

Chemical engineer with refining experience in process engineering, operations supervision, project engineering and project management. As a process engineer I have extensive experience optimizing and increasing throughput of refinery operating units. In this time I also gained experience with turnarounds and new units start-ups as both an assistant and as process lead. I parlayed this experience in to a position as an operations front-line supervisor. In this position I gained experience evaluating employee performance and coaching to improve performance and increase understanding. This position also provided invaluable insight into overall refinery operations and inter-unit and external interactions. After two years in this position I was offered a position as CEP Process lead focusing on OSBL and downstream interactions. I used my combination of experience with environmental regulations, operations and engineering to integrate best practices in all three fields to optimized solutions balancing environmental, operational and technical considerations. Success in the CEP assignment lead to a newly created position which uses my my background and existing relationship with engineering contractors to manage and provide process leadership in the portion of the corporate project portfolio assigned to engineering contractors.
