Product Design technology investigation, biomechanics research, product architect, and product design execution History I've been at apple for roughly 10 years Projects I've shipped include the first MacBook retina display, Siri Remote, Apple pencil 2, Smart Keyboard (fabric) for iPad, Architected the latest rubber dome keyboards, Architected the colorful new 24" iMacs, and an early start in the latest Studio Display Over the past 10 years, my Apple coworkers and I have filed more than 400+ patent applications domestic and international, with more than 150 issued patents. More than 70% of the patents I am the first inventor on. I have gathered many skills along the way in shipping these apple products. From a manufacturing perspective they include : FATP of liquid crystal retina displays, forging, high volume injection molding of single and double shot parts, complex tooling with multiple lifters and slider mechanisms, compression molding especially of thin sub 100 micron elements, casting, stamping, CNC, extrusion, fly cutting, glass cutting and grinding, painting, in mold decoration, wire EDM, glass forming. Cross functionally I have experience dealing with magnetic, piezo electric, and linear resonant haptics for input. Sensing technologies I have experience in include capacitative sensing, eddy current sensing, magnetic sensing, optical sensing, resistive based sensing.
