Senior Hydrologist
The Bureau of Meteorology is an Executive Agency of the Australian Government for providing weather services to Australia and surrounding areas.
I am a spatial scientist, geologist, hydrologist and remote sensing specialist. I provide strong leadership and for environmental challenges within a strong multi-disciplinary framework to stakeholders and customers. Over the past few years, I have developed expertise in flood forecasting, water data management, complex spatial data management and developed innovative customer solutions through spatial analysis for complex problems. I have developed strong industry support for my interdisciplinary projects in spatially-integrated analysis which have been in sustainable water resource management, hydrological and stormwater modelling, water sensitive urban design, climate change adaptation, urban heat island mitigation), urban development and health spatial analysis. Specialties: •Innovative solution delivery to customers, extensive experience and advanced technical expertise in hydrological modelling, GIS softwares, which include ESRI (ArcGIS) and MapInfo suite of products and their extensions •Subject matter expert for Remote Sensing data handling and software: ERDAS Imagine and ENVI Image Processing software •Enterprise change management support to meet technological advancements
