Founded in 1910, the cooperative is owned by half of the state's almond growers who produce over 80 percent of the world almond supply. Blue Diamond® led the development of California's almond industry from a minor domestic specialty crop to the world leader in almond production and marketing. In 2013, we doubled our capacity by opening the first phase of a new plant in Turlock, California, designed to create more value-added global products using state-of-the art technology. We have also expanded our research and development capabilities with our Almond innovation Center, a one-of-a-kind facility dedicated to new almond products. The California almond crop is marketed to all 50 states and more than 90 foreign countries, making almonds California's largest food export, the sixth largest U.S. food export and the #1 specialty crop in America.

Brian Barczak is a strategic and operational leader who drives company value and growth by aligning Global Supply to support business objectives. He optimizes the end-to-end supply chain in procurement, planning, manufacturing, safety, quality, engineering, warehousing, logistics, transportation, customer service, sustainability and innovation with global experience in North America, Caribbean, Asia Pacific and Europe. He is skilled at leading joint ventures, strategic projects and major plant acquisitions, expansions, divestitures and closures working in both public and co-operative companies. Brian has served in senior leadership roles as a Deputy General Manager and SVP of Manufacturing and Distillation for Diageo and is currently Senior Vice President, Global Supply of Blue Diamond Growers, reporting directly to the CEO/President.
