Dr Jeff Reed is currently VP of Microsoft Global Alliance at Arrow Electronics, a Fortune 150 global technology company. Arrow provides reverse logistics and electronics components to Microsoft burgeoning device and cloud businesses, as well is a Gold partner enabling channel and end customers with their Microsoft hybrid and public cloud digital solutions. Previously Jeff was CTO at Arrow Electronics' Systems Integration division, focused on software platforms and services for three core business units: Internet of Things, Unified Communications, and Data Center Infrastructure. Jeff has worked at Fortune 500 and start-up environments in both CIO and CTO roles for the past 20 years, with a passion for software development. Major accomplishments include architecting Microsoft's Outlook Web Access in the 90's, designing T-Mobile's mobile data services platform in the 2000's, and currently leading Arrow's IoT software platform initiatives.Prior to Arrow, Jeff was CTO and an officer at Logicalis, a London-based public company and subsidiary of Datatec Ltd. Logicalis has revenues in excess of $500M and employs more than 1,500 people in Europe, USA, and South America. As part of the executive team, grew the combined businesses from $100M to over $500M, including starting their IBM business. Managed multiple P&Ls including software development services, managed services, infrastructure services, product marketing and channel sales, where he oversaw partners such as HP, IBM, Cisco, Sun, Microsoft, Sybase and EMC.
