I have an innate ability to formulate IT security roadmaps, deploy security systems, mitigate risks, resolve IT problems and deliver solutions that will streamline organizations’ operations within different challenging environments. As a Certified Information Security Professional, I take great pride in: * Devising and executing an enterprise security strategy, which included strategically integrated elements of NIST risk management and Cyber security frameworks and SANS Critical Controls. * Playing a significant role in integrating new businesses’ systems to the parent company during 3 acquisitions in 2019 and implementing necessary business process changes that needed to occur to address any new business processes required. * Streamlining IT operations by formulating and implementing five-year IT security strategy roadmap. * Developing and implementing security policies and standards to all users to ensure unity of direction and seamless flow of activities. * Leveraging a unified program-wide approach, resulted in resolving issues and mitigating IT security risks to enhance the activities of Information Security. * And, spearheading the execution of various projects pertaining to control reviews, enterprise brand surveillance, data classification, and data loss prevention. I have successful led ongoing reviews of business processes and developed optimization strategies. I am also well-versed in privacy and defense regulations, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), International Traffic and Arms Regulation (ITAR), and Export Administration Regulation (EAR).
