A results-driven consultant, entrepreneur, and executive with specific expertise in technology, healthcare, behavior change, communication, social networking and online community development. Particularly interested in developing innovative solutions that influence consumer behavior, drive revenue, and improve health. Prior to co-founding and leading a consulting company for many years, I was a vice president and corporate officer for an operating subsidiary of a Fortune 100 company. The subsidiary focused on developing and providing technology-centered population health services including behaviorally based disease- and lifestyle-management interventions. Served as a Senior Consultant with The Benfield Group, a national health care consulting firm specializing in the strategic communications, pharmaceutical program development, and health and productivity management. Earlier in my career, I served as Chief Operating Officer for an international joint-venture that focused on providing diversified human resource services. This company, owned by a Japanese conglomerate provided comprehensive health and work-life programs for large health care, corporate, and government institutions. I have a PhD in Educational Administration and a MS degree in health management from the American University, where I also directed extensive research on the economic impacts of worksite health promotion.
