Adam is a global HR leader with large business and small start-up experience in the technology, e-commerce, retail, hospitality, entertainment, and service industries, with heavy emphasis on organizational culture and hyper-growth. With more than 20 years of experience in Human Resources, Adam brings a wealth of expertise to his current role in leading Human Resources for Grainger's multi-billion dollar sales organization. Prior to his current role, Adam led Human Resources for Grainger's e-Commerce subsidiary, Zoro, where he was responsible for developing and executing a people vision and strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction. Adam’s areas of focus and leadership reside in talent acquisition, change management, organizational and talent development, employee relations, DEI, and compensation. Adam thrives in a fast-paced setting where he can serve as a strategic business partner and advisor to leaders across an organization. Before joining the Grainger family in 2017, Adam was the Executive Director of Human Resources for Scientific Games, the Director of Employee and Labor Relations for MGM Resorts International at Aria Resort and Casino, and the HR Manager for CityCenter Las Vegas. Adam got his start in Human Resources working with Allegis Group, a global talent solutions organization, based in the Baltimore/DC corridor. Adam received a BA in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University, his MS in Applied Psychology from the University of Baltimore, and holds SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications. He serves as the Chicago North Chapter Leader for HRHotSeat and enjoys playing guitar, home improvement, fitness, and coaching youth sports in his free time.
