I am a quantitative researcher and methodologist who cares about translating between technical challenges and human insights. I have a proudly eclectic and international background - I've applied data science to counterextremism and social media analytics in Iraq, progressive politics in America, and market research data in London. My domain expertise lies in a blend of marketing+communications and user experience. I think of myself as an optimiser - optimising solutions to interesting data problems, and optimising business practices to support answers to these problems. I care about using data and modeling in a way that clients and stakeholders can understand; the best analysis means nothing if it doesn't get traction.
