Karen is dynamic, energetic and engaging. I'm an instinctive leader and uses my intuition to guide and support others to achieve their best. My leadership style is collaborative and co-operative which lends itself well to working across disciplines and organisations. I have a strong vision for th future of higher education in the UK: as a sector we need to be more agile and flexible. I have high standards and strives to achieve excellence for myself, my team and the staff and students I work with collectively and individually. I have excellent interpersonal and coaching skills and recognised as someone who can effectively manage performance and achieve results. I am committed to individual and organisational development. My leadership style is both supportive and challenging. I am goal driven but try not to lose sight of the indvidual in the process of getting the job done. I'm a recognised and respected member of the Russell Group networks, a qualified coach with four years’ experience of work-based coaching and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
