Jarrett is a well-known and respected leader in the financial services industry who has built industry-transforming businesses utilizing emerging technology and operational excellence. He brings deep industry experience in both the retail and institutional markets, online and offline, and across millennial and boomer demographics. Jarrett started his career in trading at a division of Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette and in equity research at Paine Webber. In 1989, he co-founded and was CEO of TIR Securities, a global institutional broker specializing in cross border trading and the origination and distribution of global independent research. In 1999, he sold TIR Securities to E*TRADE. At E*TRADE, he led the turnaround of E*TRADE’s international retail business. In 2001, he became E*TRADE’s Chief Brokerage Officer, in charge of the global retail franchise. In 2003, he became President and Chief Operating Officer and built the premier online financial services platform, encompassing brokerage, banking, and lending services, delivering 5 record years of revenue and profit growth. He was elected to the Board of Directors in 2006 and was Acting CEO from November 2007 - March 2008. After leaving E*TRADE, Jarrett Founded Bendigo Partners, which engages in venture investing and consulting services within the financial services industry. Jarrett was the CEO of Kapitall - a retail broker focused on millennial investors with a new and disruptive user interface - from September 2012 - August 2014. Jarrett was interim CEO at Investment Technologies Group (NYSE:ITG) – a global institutional broker and technology provider – from August 2015 - January 2016. Jarrett is currently President and COO at WisdomTree Investments, Inc. (NASDAQ:WETF), an exchange-traded fund (“ETF”) and exchange-traded product (“ETP”) sponsor and asset manager and is Vice Chairman of Barton International – the global leader in garnet abrasives.
