INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN/ PERFORMANCE SUPPORT I have over 20 years of experience in adult learning strategies and performance support in a global context including teaching and training delivery, curriculum and instructional design, strategic alignment with business objectives, and project management. My design experience includes knowledge transfer and performance support creating case studies, scenarios, simulations, job aids, and other modes of storytelling and skills development. These were accomplished via websites, virtual courses, webinars, videos, and instructor led training in the classroom. My working environments have included the U.S. Department of State, universities (George Washington, American, and Murdoch University in Western Australia), and various private and non-profit organizations. I can localize content and ensure global accessibility of language and cultural content. Areas of learning expertise include performing needs assessments (interviews, surveys, focus groups, task analysis) and evaluations up to and including Kirkpatrick level 3. Certified Kirkpatrick Bronze level. Certified in mobile learning design by ASTD. Technology skills include authoring tools (Captivate, Storyline), designing for accessibility, directing video segments, and supervising/collaborating with developers, programmers, graphics and media specialists.
